Zirconium-doped Titania Ceramic Fabrics prepared by the Wet Impregnation Method
Samples of zirconium-doped titania ceramic fabrics were prepared by the wet impregnation method from organic fabrics precursors, and annealed at 700℃. XRD showed that Titania crystal size ranging from 15 to 25 nm and mainly phase is anatase phase, SEM showed that fibre diameter ranged from 3 to 5μm. Results obtained revealed that Zr-doped Titania fabrics showed satisfied mechanics performance, and the presence of Zr-ions in the titania structure caused double semiconductors effect. The photodegradation efficiency matched the maximum light absorption efficiency.
