Variational Multi-layer Woven Composites and its Design Method

With the development of industrial textiles, variational multi-layer woven composites are paid attention by more and more researchers. The application and research of variational multi-layer woven composites is introduced in this paper. After analyzing existent ways, a new design method for warp arrangement plan, is put forward to make the design of variational multi-layer woven composites simple. Mathematic model, which is described in detail, is set up to make this method computerized. The relationship among warp arrangement plan, harness draft and chain draft is depicted in this model. On the basis of this mathematic model, a variational multi-layer woven composites CAD system has been developed.
