Effect of PTT Configurations on Fabrics Elasticity
The main purpose of this paper is to discuss the PTT configurations effect on elastic properties of fabrics, and provide a reference to choose or develop high quality fabrics. Twenty-four knitted fabrics were Selected. They were classed as PTT group fabrics and contrastive fabrics which include PU elastic fabrics and PET&PA fabrics. Elastic properties such as extensibility, tensile resilience, plastic strain and fatigue resistance were studied Using KES system. According to the result, the influence of PTT configurations on knitted fabrics was analyzed and the elastic properties of PTT group were compared With that of contrastive group. PTT/PET composite filament fabrics exhibit excellent elastic properties and could be an ideal material for elastic knitting clothing.
