Research on Multilayer Fabric Integrated Thermal Protective Performance
This paper explores multiple fabric integrated thermal protective performance for the fire- protection clothing. The performance is conducted so as to elaborate on the multiple fabric integrated thermal protective performance by a serial of tests of combining high flame-retardant fabrics including Nomex, Kermel and PSA, with PTFE, TPU and the three- dimensional spacing flame-retardant fabric to simulate the layers of fire-protection clothing, by conducting the vertical flammability test to analyze the outer fabrics, flame-retardant performance, and also by experimenting the TPP test. The research results are as follows: the best thermal protective performance is the combination of PSA, three- dimensional spacing flame-retardant fabric and flame- retardant cotton fabric; the fittest combination of fabric for the fire-protection clothing is the integration of Nomex Ⅲ A fabric, three-dimensional spacing flame-retardant fabric and flame-retardant cotton fabric; three-dimensional spacing flame- retardant fabric can be integrated in fire protection clothing structure.
