Preparation of Dope-Dyed Polly (m-Phenylene isophthalamide) Fibre
Poly-m-phenylene isophthalamide (PMIA) fibre is a kind of aromatic polyamide fibre with excellent thermal stability. The applications of PMIA fibre in protect apparel are limited due to their poor dyeability. In this paper the coloured PMIA fibre was prepared by adding pigment to spinning dope and the properties and structures of coloured PMIA fibres PMIA fibres were characterized by adding pigment to spinning dope and the properties and structures of coloured still have good performances. It provides valuable method for the development of coloured PMIA fibres with excellent performances.
