Synthesis, Characterization and the Application in the Fluorescent Fiber of the Organic-Nano Rare earth Light Conversion Agent

In this paper, the organic-nano rare earth light conversion agent (ONRELCA) with benzenoid and carboxyl structure was synthesized. The polypropylene (PP) fluorescent fiber with the ONRELCA was prepared. The composition, structure and properties of the ONRELCA were characterized through the IR spectra, element analysis data, TEM photos, fluorescent spectra, DSC and TGA curve. The results show that the ONRELCA possesses of stable composition and structure, excellent thermal and luminescent properties. The TEM photos indicated that the particle diameter of the ONRELCA is 40-50nm. The rare earth ion is enveloped by the organic ligand; this endues the ONRELCA in PP with favorable dispersible property. The polypropylene fiber with the ONRELCA has excellent luminescent property.
