Studies on Semi-IPN CopolyMethylacrylate Fiber and Oil-Absorptive Property
Potential crosslinking agent was introduced into the synthesizing process of highly oil-absorptive resin which is traditionally prepared by single chemical crosslinking. The resin was dissolved in N,N- dimethylacetamide (DMAc) and then span to fiber. The fiber was heated after spinning to obtain semi-IPN network structure. By controlling the monomer ratio, crosslinking agent concentration and crosslinked conditions, the maximum absorbencies of prepared fibers to different oil was 15g toluene/g fiber. The structures of the copolymer (CPMA) and the fiber (CPMAF) were analyzed.
