A Study of Influence of Nanometer Montmorillonite on the Performance of the Sizing Agent and its Film
This research Work was undertaken with a view that nanometer montmorillonite was added to sizing agent as the disperse phase to improve the performance of the sizing agent. Influence of various factors such as the disperse degree and the content of nanometer montmorillonite, the component with the traditional mixture sizing agent, the combining form among composition, as well as the characteristic of the sizing agent on mechanical properties of its film were investigated. The result indicated that the nanometer montmorillonite as additive in sizing agent is able to optimize the structure of the sizing agent and improve the property of the sizing film.
