Co-Simulation Research on Hydraulic Semi-Active Suspension System for Tracked Vehicle

Based on the structure properties of tracked vehicles suspension, a half-vehicle model with 8 DOFs is built, and the principle of co-simulation in mechanical and control system is introduced, then the multi-body dynamic half-vehicle model is built based on ADAMS, the hydraulic servo system is analyzed in EASY5. Semi-active suspension controllers were designed using MATLAB/Simulink, where the co- simulation with mechanical, hydraulic and control system is achieved. The results prove that the hydraulic system could reduce the vehicle acceleration and improve the maneuverability.
