Research on Virtual Measurement of Road Response Spectrum of Tracked Vehicles Road Wheels
A virtual test system for road response spectrum is founded based on software ADAMS/ATV in this article. The vehicle model takes into account almost all major design parameters of the vehicle. Link tracks are looked as rigid bodies, which make this model more realistic. It not only reflects interaction of components of the vehicle, but also describes interaction law between tracks and soil. The terrain and vehicle parameters modeled in the system can be modified expediently. So it is fit for testing road response spectrum of different vehicles running on different terrain. The system provides a stable base for the research of tracked vehicle suspension system and evaluating of vehicle ride quality.
