Research on Agricultural Sustainable Development Capability Evaluation in Jilin Province
From the basic characteristics of sustainable agriculture, the regional agricultural comprehensive evaluation index system was built including 23 indexes from five aspects the population, society, economic, natural resources and environment, and the comprehensive level of agriculture sustainable development was evaluated. Using entropy method to determine weight, the agricultural sustainable development capability was counted to evaluate the agricultural sustainable development status from 2000 to 2005 in Jilin Province. The results showed that the overall level of agriculture sustainable development continued to improve since the ecological province concept was built from 2000 in Jilin province. From the coordination of the various systems changed, all systems were in sustainable trend. In light of the actual situation, the suggestions for agriculture sustainable development were put forward. It has practical significance to promote agriculture sustainable development in this region.
