Study on Emission Factor of Internal Comnbustion Locomotive
The measurements of the concentrations of the pollutants from the internal combustion locomotive inside the 3304m long Lishugou rail tunnel in Beijing were conducted. The emission factor of CO and NOx from DF8B locomotive in china were (10.35±8.75)g/(kW·h), (19.50±7.60)g/(kW·h) (passenger locomotive); (27.08±20.78)g/(kW· h), (104.04±48.90)g/(kW·h) (freight locomotive), respectively, which were derived from the conservation of mass on the measured data. In comparison with the emission factors published by developed countries, the CO and NOx emission factors of freight locomotives in China are much higher than those of the advanced countries.
