US-Korea Cooperation on ANSI/MSE 2000 Promotion and Training
The American National Standards Institute, Management System for Energy, ANSI/MSE 2000, energy management standard was adopted as an American National Standard in 2000. In 2006, the Korean Energy Management Corporation (KEMCO) identified the MSE 2000 Standard as a promising approach to guide energy management planning and execution in Korea. Working together, KEMCO and standard developer Georgia Tech have transferred information on implementing and applying the standard to Korean energy managers. Their activities and results thus far as well as plans for the future are presented and discussed.
