New Opportunities to Reduce Energy Consumption in Plastic Processing

For companies that process plastic, electric power is a significant part of production costs and it is expected to grow in the next years. Therefore, reducing consumption is a key factor to keep and increase competitiveness. To face this problem, ABB installed and successfully tested in one of his factories the ESC-Energy Saving Control system: an innovative solution with reduced costs, which cuts energy consumption in existing production line, even if equipped with old machinery.
