Research On Simulation Analysis for WECS
IEC6100 defines wind turbines load cases without guideline for implement. Guideline for the Certification of Wind Turbine by GL only explains 32 load cases which need to be subdivided in application. CSIC (Chongqing) Haizhuang Windpower Equipment Co., Ltd imported the technology of pitch- variable speed WECS 2.0MW and 850kW by cooperating design and technology transfer and also has been studying the details of load cases definition. Based on above, with GH Bladed which is a software for wind turbine performance and loading calculations, the article subdivides load cases into 433 types, makes a primary study on the calculation of extreme load and fatigue load, and Campbell diagram, and gives simulation results for several actual samples.
