40 GHz Self-Pulsation in Two-Section DFB Lasers with Varied Ridge Width

摘要：

1.55-μ m InGaAsP-InP two-section DFB lasers with varied ridge width have been fabricated. Self-pulsations with frequencies around 40GHz are observed. The related mechanism and the tunability of generated self-pulsations is studied.
