Adiabatic compression of quadratic solitons and frequency shift by using cascading nonlinearities
We investigate that the equiva ent Kerr se f-phase-modu ation (SPM) and cross-phase- modu ation (XPM) effects introduced in cascaded second-order processes is dependent on the phase mismatch and group ve ocity mismatch. Adia atic compression of quadratic so itons and frequency shift is reported.
