A Proposal for Passive Optical Network Architecture (WDM-PON) Based on Array of Ring Resonators

In this paper, we propose a novel and manageable passive optical network (PON) based on array of ring resonators. The proposed structure includes a compact chip to operate as multiplexer, demultiplexer, add-drop multiplexer and remote node.
