Low Cost Integrated Optical Mux/Demux for LX4 Transceiver

This presentation reviews the development of an integrated, optical Mux/Demux based on wafer scale micro-optics and optical wavelength filters. This small form factor design enabled the LX4 transceiver to satisfy X2-MSA for 10G Ethernet applications.
