A Simple Implementation of Tunable All-Optical Microwave Notch Filter with a Negative Tap Based on a Semiconductor Optical Amplifier

A simple implementation of tunable all-optical microwave notch filter with a negative tap based on a semiconductor optical amplifier is demonstrated. The present filter shows good tunability, and is easy to implement and cost-effective.
