Spectrally Broadened Optical Pump Source via Phase Modulation for Wideband SBS Slow Light

摘要：

We demonstrated slow light of 1 GHz and 10 GHz pulses using stimulated Brillouin scattering in a single mode fiber. The cw pump sources are spectrally broadened by phase modulation at different bit rates.
