Study on Design and Simulation of Electro-Hydraulic Valve Actuation (EHVA) System with Two-Spring

The electro-hydraulic careless variable valve actuation system which offers a continuously variable and independent control is a new kind of variable valve technology. This paper proposes a electro- hydraulic valve actuation system with two-spring and summarizes its basic principle. The dynamic model of ahydraulic power system is also constructed by means of power bond graphs. And then, the simulation modeling of all the system based on Matlab/simulink is established and the factors, which can influence the systems dynamic characteristics have been analyzed. It provides valuable references for further design and experimental research.
