NANODOT INORGANIC/CARBON COMPOSITES FOR HYBRID CAPACITORS
Electric double layer capacitors (EDLCs) have attracted much attention because of some superior properties to batteries, such as high power density, long-term cycle-ability, and wide temperature-range operations. A main problem of the EDLCs is low energy density (-10 Wh kg<-1>). To achieve high energy density, mainly two types of hybridized capacitors having higher voltage and higher capacitance have been proposed.
