Scheduling of Naphtha Feeding for Naphtha Cracking Center
This paper addresses the naphtha feeding problem for Naphtha Cracking Center (NCC). The naphtha feeding problem is composed of two main issues: the naphtha delivering from refineries to NCC and the naphtha blending in storage tanks in NCC. The first issue relates to the supplier selection and naphtha unloading scheduling. The latter involves the transfer of the naphtha from storage tanks to a mixing tank. The problem is formulated as a mixed linear integer programming. The objective function is to minimize a cost function that consists of naphtha prices, shipping expenses, and unloading costs.
