Simulation of a Direct Internal Reforming Solid Oxide Fuel Cell
In this work, a simulation of a single anode-supported solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) under steady state and isothermal conditions is presented. The operation of SOFC under direct internal reforming and intermediate temperature (873-1023 K) is considered. The cell performances in terms of fuel efficiency, voltage and power density are analyzed taking into account the effect of key operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, fuel utilization and steam to carbon ratio (S/C ratio).
