A Case Study of Optimization under Uncertainty for Chemical Separation Process
Uncertainty is unavoidable in the optimization for a chemical separation process. This work attempts to extend the two-stage stochastic programming with recourse to optimization the chemical separation process under uncertainty. The efficacy of this methodology is demonstrated by optimizing the product separation process in the production of 1-hexene.
