Optimization and Control of Chemical Tubular Reactors in the Presence of Hot Spots and Disturbances
Since inlet perturbations could cause the hot spots or thermal runaway, we propose two dependent manipulated variables to dominate heat exchange function for cooling devices. The output regulation design of nonlinear distributed parameter systems is addressed by using non-distributed predictive controls. Notably, the no offset output regulation is achieved as well as the undesired peak temperature is removed while physical constraints and unknown disturbances being considered simultaneously.
