Whole Flow Optimization Based on Prior Knowledge in Chemical Process
Conventional optimization methods in which chemical process is optimized as a whole flow have some limits and intelligent optimization methods cost more time. In order to quickly get the optimal operation conditions, a new heuristic method is introduced based on process prior knowledge. In the method dynamic equations of decision variables are adjusted by prior knowledge and the properties of Particle Swarm optimization method are also used. It is applied in the whole flow optimization of poly(ethylene-terephthalate) process. The optimization results could be easily used in practice and got good results.
