TEST ANALYSIS OF THE CAST-STEEL JOINT IN LARGE STEEL FRAME OF HANG ZHOU INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE CENTER
Based on the non-destructive full-scale test on the cast-steel joint used in the Hang Zhou International Conference Center, static behavior of the steel joint under 1.3 times of design load is discussed in this paper. In this experiment, many elements meet in this cast-steel joint and the force situation is hard to analyze, on the other hand, this is a full-scale non- destructive test and asks jacks having a big tonnage. A preliminary finite element analysis on the full- sized test joint is carried out, aimed to determine the loading plan. With a full consideration the use of prototype joint sample and the mutual relation of spatial system of forces, after some simplification, a spatial self-balance reaction loading installment is adopted and calculated gather with the joint, to simulate real loads. Stress distribution is analyzed on the basis of the test and FEM analysis, which using Solid95 Unit, and the loading security of the joint is evaluated. The results from experiment and FE calculation show that, the cast-steel joint of steel frame of Hang Zhou International Conference Center is safe and reliable, which has enough strength reservation. The corresponding test method and calculation means can be used as reference for similar structures.
