Control and Computer Simulation of Acoustic Parameter in a Drama Theater
The Centersouthern theater is a very important project that serves The Eighth Circle Art Festival of China, with a professional drama theater in it. In the drama theater, people can carry on performances mainly by persons voice. In order to guarantee the acoustic quality of the theater and provide enough sound energy for the last rows even without audio amplifiers, analyses and calculations including computer simulation using EASE 4.0 were performed. This paper describes the acoustical design and computer simulation of the Centersouthern theater in order to satisfy the requirements of sound pressure level without audio amplifiers.
