Research on Soundscapegraphy for the Notation of Urban Soundscape

In this paper, the concept of soundscapegraphy consisting of objective information, subjective information, relationship analysis and simulation information was presented for the notation of urban soundscape. Next, a methodology to make soundscapegraphy from the stages of data collection, data processing, mapping to information analysis and simulation was presented. Then,with the case study of Saga urban areas, the development and analysis of soundscapegraphy were performed. Finally, the applications of soundscapegraphy were discussed. It is concluded that soundscapegraphy can be a proper and applicable method for the notation and analysis of urban soundscape.
