The Analysis of Potential Contributions of Natural Infiltration Rates to Ventilation in Apartment Buildings
This study examines the potential use of natural infiltration in apartment buildings to suggest appropriate ventilation rates controlled by mechanical system. Field measurements were performed in 13 apartment units under a variety of pressure difference between indoor and outdoor. Using the monitored data, infiltration rates were predicted under 4 Pa. The rate ranged varied from 0.18 to 0.41 air change rates per hour.
