Research on the Evaluation of the Enterprises IT Capability Based on Resource View
Advanced information systems and technology may account for the success of enterprises informatization to some extent, but the more critical factor lies in whether the firm can make full use of its information resources including information system and information technology efficiently to cultivate IT capability and improve the firms competency. This paper studies the evaluation method of IT capability based on resource-based view, and an introductory empirical research to evaluate the IT capability of 49 enterprises in china based on this method is also performed. The result states that the IT capability calculation is an effective method for the enterprise to make information strategy and evaluation.
