Selection of Logistics Service Provider: A Fuzzy ANP Approach
The increasing focus on core competencies opened up many business opportunities for Logistics Service Providers (LSPs). However the selection of a proper LSP involves an evaluation of multiple attributes which are often accompanied by certain ambiguities and vagueness. In this article, a fuzzy ANP approach was proposed to overcome the vagueness in preferences and capture interdependencies among the decision attributes. An illustrative example is used to explore the application of the fuzzy ANP methodology to this problem.
