Temporary or Permanent: the Vertical Integration Strategy of Chinas Apparel Industry Leader, Youngor
While the tendency of Concentration and Specialization is becoming popular and widely accepted by the industry, Youngor, Chinas apparel industry leader, is taking active steps to explore upstream and downstream within the apparel industry. By adopting vertical integration strategy, Youngor makes a great investment on the establishment of a solid demand and supply chain, including fabrics, apparel, national wide distribution and retail network. This paper aims at the development process of Youngor and analyzes its vertiacal integration strategy. Youngors strategy will change with environment changing.
