The real challenge for organizations competing in todays complex business environment is not just to focus on technological efficiency, but rather to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing in order to create value. In addition, attempts to share knowledge often fail if they are not backed by a supportive culture. This paper proposes a holistic value network for understanding the dynamics of knowledge sharing within the business incubator environment. In this paper, a knowledge sharing model is presented consisting of the 4 Cs of communication, culture, commitment and collaboration. The proposed model aims to help business incubators leverage their knowledge sharing proficiencies to foster a culture of collaboration for competitive advantage.
