Design of an Improved Model for Supplier Selection in Supply Chain
Supply Chain Management (SCM) is an emerging field which commands more and more attention from researchers. As the headstream of whole supply chain, supplier evaluation and selection is a critical part in supply chain. With a review of many quantitative and qualitative supplier selection methods, a new improved method which bases on clustering analysis, Principal Components Analysis (PCA) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) is presented in this paper. Compared to Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation (FCE), this proposed model is demonstrated to achieve better performance by considering a real case study.
