Research on E-commerce Adoption in Chinese Manufacturing
With the development of IT and E-commerce, Chinese manufacturing is facing unprecedented challenges brought by ever changing. E-commerce strategy application in Chinas manufacturing supply chain has not been conducted successfully because of lack of capital, technology, competent personnel and management skills. This paper analyzed barriers, influence factors of e-commerce strategy in manufacturing and elements for designing e-supply chain, helps manufacturing managers understand the relationship between the benefits and the strategies they attempt to accomplish with the technology. It provides broad views on e-commerce application in manufacturing supply chain and offers a paradigm on the factors for e-commerce adoption.
