Research on the Short-term Electric Load Forecasting of the Variable Artificial Structure Neural Network Based on Web

Because a short-term electric load forecasting tendency has a strong randomness, the determination of mathematical models is difficult. However, when ANN is used to electric load forecasting sometimes the figures are not convergent, sometimes they are so easy to fall into partial minimal point. Therefore through VANN (Variable Structure Artificial Neural Network) model we can get the optimal network, the optimal approximation and optimal forecasting results. Take the short-term electric load forecasting for example, the forecasting accuracy is improved greatly. It meets the practical needs.
