Products and Manufacturing Processes of Poplar Plywood
There has been a rapid development in Chinas wood- based composites industry and in the Jiangsu provincial wood processing industry as well in recent years. This paper gives a brief introduction of the development of poplar industry in Jiangsu while at the same time focusing on the research and development of poplar plywood products. Wood characteristics of the poplar tree and its effects on the production techniques of plywood are discussed, and a unique model of poplar utilization related to veneer-based poplar products is presented and analyzed.
