Study on Radial Curtain Plybamboo Form
The manufacturing technology of radial curtain plybamboo form was studied by radial cutting strip and radial face gluing in this paper. The results show that: (1) The bamboo utilization rate of radial cutting strip is more than 15-20% the chordwise cutting strip, and the resin content of radial bamboo strips is about 50% of chordwise bamboo strips; (2) The radial bamboo strips have green, flesh and yellow matter of bamboo on their width and they are easily bend deformation in lengthwise. The bundling drying method of laying hollow rigidity axle with hole in radial bamboo curtain rolls can not only preventing from radial bamboo strips bend deformation, but also it can make the drying uniformity and rapidity. (3) The radial curtain plybamboo form adopts the technology of hot-hot cycle technology. Its hot pressing time is approximately 50% of the technology of cold-hot-cold cycle technology of chordwise composite plastic curtain plybamboo. The properties of products exceed the requirements of plybamboo form standard.
