Importance of colour recordings during the documentation process within the conservation and restoration applications
A detailed architectural survey of a historical building before conservation and restoration applications has a great importance in order to get a reliable future intervention. In this context, the colour specifications of the buildings materials should also be determined at the physical documentation as a part of process the architectural survey. In this paper, colour records role in the conservation and restoration applications is emphasized and colour records of some historical buildings worked on at the CAHRISMA and ERATO Research Projects, which were supported by the EC 5 <th> Framework INCOMED Program, are presented.
