Well Testing Method During Thermal Recovery With Consideration of Heat Loss in N-Zone, Radial Composite Reservoir
The pressure gauge for Thermal Recovery drawdown and buildup transient test has been manufactured. With the development of exploitation technology and theory of heavy oil reservoirs, it is possible to investigate transient well test method and software applying to thermal recovery. But the previous studies just as idealized reservoir undergoing steam- drive with isothermal radial composite reservoir model and ignored the effect of heat Loss on test data. By investigating the law of seepage flow, based on effective wellbore radius, this paper established a radial composite model of N-Zone by considering the vapor condensation effect in the thermal recovery. The model is solved by Laplace transformation and use Stehfest numerical inverse transformation method to obtain dimensionless wellbore pressure. The type- curves are given. The effect of heat loss of cap rock and underlying rock on typecurves is discussed. Analyses of pressure transient test data are also given.
