HEAVY-OIL EXPLOITATION OF DAQING OIL FIELD

There are some heavy-oil blocks distributed in Block Puqian 12 on the south of Daqing placanticline and in the West Slope in the region of Daqing. The main characteristics are small blocks, distributed asunder, thin oil layer, shallow, intricate distribution of oil and water. According to the present exploiting practice and experimental results, all of the routine steam injection methods fit in the present heavy-oil reservoirs. All blocks have big exploiting potential. The experiments of steam stimulation in Block Jiang 37 defines that the production rate of thermal development is 1.7t/d and 3-metres-thick reservoir can reach about 500t per year.
