Pressure Drop Interpretation in Huff and Puff Of Heavy Oil Recovery
Aimed at the characteristics of stewing stage in huff and puff of thermal recovery, and based on the former studies, a mathematical model including energy equilibrium equation is built in which such factors as heterogeneity of reservoir and fluids are taken into account. And then this model is solved by combing streamline method with the conventional finite differential method. Besides, in this paper, the concept of turning point is proposed. It is considered that the data before this point can be interpreted with conventional well-testing method. However, for those after this point, should be interpreted by the conversion amounts from steam into hot water. Based on the researches above mentioned, this method is applied in the interpretation of actual data in LIAOHE oilfield, China. Compared the calculated values with those of the theoretical chart-Gringartern-Bourdet, it is found that there exists a perfect matching between them.
