Applications of Dynamic Separate-layer Pressure Monitoring Technique in Steam-flood Production
The production and development of many heavy oil blocks in Liaohe Oilfield has gradually entered the stage of steam flood, therefore downhole pressure behavior of steam-flood well groups is very important to the scientific development of heavy oil blocks. In September 2003, the technique of dynamic separate- layer pressure monitoring was successfully applied in Guan30 Well of Qi40 Block .Among all oilfields both at home and abroad, Liaohe is the first one to carry out the technique of dynamic separate-layer pressure monitoring, with features of the most layers (four layers),the highest working temperature(220°C) and the longest working time(nearly 3 years). This technique plays an important role in the sector of high temperature testing;through this technique, we can timely adjust well patterns of steam injection and rationally formulate production systems according to the monitored data. The technique provides effective and scientific basis for fine steam flood production, and it is of important significance of guidance to steam flood production.
