Technology of Developing Horizontal Branch Wells

Oil fields in Bohai bay are unconsolidated sandstone heavy oil fields. Its geological structure and reservoir condition are complicated. The article mainly describes the drilling and completion techniques of the horizontal branch wells, including the control of the well track, the high- quality screen pipe, sand-control, the mutual action mechanism of the fluids, technology of enhancing well productivity, the optimum combination of the complete setof technologies. Horizontal branch wells optimum combination is very important. It will be the key of improving recovery ratio in heavy oil field in Bohai bay.
