The research of using foam technology to improve the effect of thermal development
In the later stage of the multi steam stimulation, the heavy oil reservoir of thermal development showed the low period of production, low oil/steam ratio and high water content ratio. The steam noneffective channeling in high permeability zone of low oil saturation is the main reason. Injecting foam with steam can increase the steam displacement zone and displacement efficiency and improve the effect of thermal development obviously. We researched a new foam agent named FCY of which the resistance ratio was above 20 in 300℃ and the interfacial tense was O.0286mN/m. We researched the influences of temperature, salinity, the remaining oil saturation and researched the OOIP of different injection styles of foam agent and nitrogen by two dimensional model. By the experiments we analyzed the theory of foam improving the effect of thermal development. From 2004 to 2006 the production technology research institution of shengli oil field has applied the technology in 17 wells which were constituted of 14 steam stimulation wells and 3 nonsequence steam flood well groups. The average steam pressure increased 0.5 ~3.2MPa and the daily oil production of single well increased 0.8t/d~24.3t/d and the average daily increased 4.6t/d when the percent of production increased 30%~280% The average water content ratio decreased 12% and by the July 28, 2006 the total increasing production has been total to 11182t. The result demonstrated that the foam technology was the effective method to improve the effect of thermal development.
