Kazakhstan and Russia residua evaluation and processing adaptability
Kazakhstan vacuum residue (KKVR) and Russia vacuum residue (RVR) were respectively cut into many narrow fractions by supereritical fluid extraction and fractionation. More than 18 fractions and non- extractable end-cut were respectively gained and their properties such as: carbon residue, refraction index, density, molecular weight, SRAR composition (saturates, aromatics, resins and asphahenes) were subjected to analysis. And structure parameter rand structure configuration was obtained for each fraction was calculated by means of BL method with 13C-NMR and 1H-NMR data. These fractions could be expatiated the residue in molecular arrangement which is a novel aspect. Besides, it will associate these characteristics and processing performance The results indicate that as fractions becoming heavier the content of aromatic hydrocarbon becomes larger and molecular structure becomes more complex. Cutting 8% to 10% end-cut from the residua will remove all asphaltene, about 60% CCR and 50% Ni, V and 80% to 99% Na, Fe, Ca, greatly favoring their further upgrading
