The feasibility and Pilot of Steam Flooding in Super Heavy Oil Reservoir
The block lof Jinglou oil field and faults BQ10 of Gucheng oil field, in Henan oil filed, are typically super heavy oil reservoirs. They have reservoir depth of 102.0—428.5m, formation thickness of 8~15m, dead oil viscosity of S4000~94247mPa.s at reservoir temperature. The reservoirs produced with steam soak. To improve the recovery further more, feasibility investigation on steam flooding in the shallow and super heavy oil reservoirs is taken in Henan oil filed. The conditions of transferred to steam flooding (especially the communication conditions of formation), optimization of the parameters of well pattern, wells distances and the injection and production, are investigated comprehensively. Steam flooding pilots are executed in 4 well groups faults of BQ10 of Gucheng oilf ield, in 1999. The reservoir has recovery percent of reserves of more than 45.7% currently. It has production rate of 5.44~7.97% and oil/steam ratio of 0.289-0.315 during steam flooding. Its predicted that the recovery will be improved by 27.5%, finally to 52%.
